I build games, tools and self‑hosted apps

Python, games and self‑hosted tools: small, finished things. Each project below says what it does, what it runs on and what state it is in.

I write down what did not work as carefully as what did. Built with Claude Code and Codex as pair tools; design, decisions and testing are mine.

Selected work.

Public code first, then prototypes. Private repos are labelled; ask and I will show you.

>_ nethealth

A network health checker for the terminal.

Checks DNS, ping, HTTP and SSL for each target you name, with a live view, a speed test and history reports. No browser and no server.

Written in Python and installed with pipx.

>_ PhotoSync

A self-hosted photo library with a web interface.

Optional on-device CLIP tagging, with a colour-based fallback if the model is not installed. Perceptual hashing finds duplicate groups, a timeline groups photos by EXIF date, and search covers tags, dates and metadata from a phone browser.

It runs on my own server, can import a NAS photo share in place without copying, and uploads nothing to a cloud service.

Stormkeeper

A small three.js browser game about a lighthouse lamp.

Aim the lamp beam to keep ships off the reef. Lose three ships and the light goes dark. A single HTML file with a vendored three.js, and no build step.

Abandoned Network Node

A small 3D game set in a dead server room.

Terminal hacking, social-engineering conversations and IT ticket triage in a decaying server room, with a headless gameplay test suite. The cinematic here is an AI-generated (Veo) concept intro, not in-game footage.
